It’s not always about beauty and fashion on this blog!
As some of you know, I work from home and I constantly struggle with one meal in particular: lunches. I have zero motivation to make myself lunch, I don’t like sandwiches ( know, weird), and I too often reach for bread and carbs to fill me up.
Recently, I have decided to have smoothies for lunch. What a game-changer. It’s so easy to know what you’re having each day, it takes 2 minutes to make, I can take it with me when I run errands, and holy moly those babies taste good!
This is my favourite recipe right now. I did make a few modifications (that’s the beauty of smoothies, you can adjust until it’s perfect for you):
-I don’t put the banana in (it’s just a taste preference) but I do eat it on the side
-I add chia or flax seeds (you can read their benefits here)
-I use frozen spinach (so much easier than washing fresh greens)
-I sometimes add a probiotic yogurt to the mix
-I add half a cup of water to make it thinner
Guys, this tastes like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, it’s sooooo good! And no, you can’t taste the spinach!
