Two Drugstore Products I Can’t Live Without!

In the past month, my beauty routine has been completely transformed thanks to these two products, both from L’Oreal.*

*not a sponsored post, I purchased and fell in love with them all by myself!

1- L’Oreal True Match Lumi Foundation ($20ish)
When my trusty Marc Jacobs foundation ran out, I found myself not wanting to spend $60 to replace it. So I turned to some of my favourite beauty vloggers to see about alternatives. The unanimous favourite, in any price range, was this one. The only thing about getting drugstore foundations is colour matching is kind of annoying because there’s no one there to help you, but what I did is I brought my current foundation to the store (Rexall store are my favourites, they have the most mirrors and testers), and colour matched until I found the right shade. This stuff is soooo good, the coverage is perfect, without being thick and cakey, it’s good for dry or oily skin, and it gives a really beautiful luminous glow. I 100% recommend it!

2- L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara ($15ish)
I’ve mentioned this mascara in a previous post, and since then I’ve gotten few samples from other brands to try, and I will ALWAYS come back to this one. I actually just stocked up at Rexall because they are having a “buy one get one 50% off” promotion, and I don’t want to run out! I have naturally long lashes, but they are by no means thick, but this mascara not only makes them even longer AND thicker, but it defines and separates them to give them even more drama. I’ve only tried the black tube (carbon black) but I just purchased the original formula, so I’ll let you know which one I like most. Honestly, I don’t think you can go wrong with either.
