The two beauty products I can’t live without!

The two beauty products I can’t live without!

During the summer, we spend most of our weekends at the cottage, and I quickly realized that I only need two things to survive my weekend: a great moisturizer and a can of dry shampoo! I usually leave the rest of my makeup and beauty products back home and give my skin and hair a break. But after a day in the sun, I do need to refresh and these two products alway do the trick! Did I mention they are both under $15!?!

1. Batiste Dry Shampoo
This is the holy grail of hair products, in my opinion. I’ve tried all sorts of dry shampoo and this is by far the best one on the market. And there’s so many different products to choose from, including one that has a hint of colour for those with darker hair, which I love! You can find them at your local drugstore, and I usually find them at HomeSense too, for a bit cheaper!

2. Complex 15 Therapeutic Face Cream
I have been using this face cream for as long as I can remember. I love how lightweight it is, but takes care of all my dry skin issues. It can be used over or under makeup and creates a shine-free look every time. If it had an SPF, it would truly be perfection! You can also pick this up at your local drugstore for a great price!

  1. Is the moisturizer good for oily/normal skin? I love your product recommendation and everyone I have tried I’ve loved so far! Especially the El Camino Old Fashion and the Maybelline mascara, makes my Better Than Sex mascara, last longer!

    1. Hi Julie! I have normal to oily skin in the summer and dry skin in the winter. And I find that the moisturizer works well for both seasons. I do use a primer after my moisturizer to keep the oil at bay in the warmer months, but on the days that I don’t and just use my moisturizer, I still get a nice matte look.

      Hope that helps!
