Neighbourhood Watch: My 5 favourite spots in Westboro!

I thought it would be fun to feature different neighbourhoods in my amazing city and tell you about my favourite places that you must visit! I couldn’t think of a better place to start than Westboro, which is where my husband and I have recently bought a home and plan to stay for a very long time!

1. Equator Coffee Roasters

Start your visit with the latest coffee shop to pop up in Westboro. On top of brewing 100% organic specialty coffee and sourcing it directly from small-scale producer cooperatives, this quaint little shop has such a nice welcoming feel, their staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and they have the most delicious treats to go with your latte!

2. The Cupcake Lounge

I don’t think I need to convince you to visit a cupcake shop, but these are definitely the best in town! They have a daily menu as well as their classic flavours available at all time (my personal favourite is vanilla chocolate!) and just to put a cherry on top of this already delicious sundae, they are licensed to serve alcohol so you can have a glass of sparkling wine with your cupcake!

3.  NRML

I have been a fan of this store for years, and discovering their beautiful shop in Westboro when we moved was a huge bonus! On top of carrying some of my favourite brands including Wildfox, MinkPink and Pink Stitch, they have a huge men’s section, and an amazing online stores with some amazing sales going on right now!

4. Savoy Brasserie

Right down the street from Equator coffee is a restaurant that has quickly become our second home. I love everything on their menu, and I love that it’s always busy, it has a great vide. I recommend you go on a Friday night for live music or even better, on Champagne Sundays for great specials on sparkling wine!

5. Masters ‘n Dogs

As a pet owner (to the cutest little kitten named Tiger Woods), I love visiting this fun little shop for unique items for my little guy. I also do all my Christmas shopping there for my fur-nephews. So whether you are looking for a new collar for your pup, or just want to stop by and buy them a treat, this is the place to spoil your pet!

And if you want to experience Westboro to its fullest, you MUST come to WestFest on the weekend of June 13-14 for the best street party this city has to offer!

I hope you enjoyed this neighbourhood tour! Next week, I will be featuring my favourite spots in Almonte, a little town with a lot of personality!

I’d love to hear what some of your favourite spots in Westboro are, so leave me a comment below!
